This is another project i wish to get started on. Does anyone have like a tutorial to build one or knows someone that makes and sells forceps?

Here's something that got posted quite a while back on the other forum. I thought this thing was too cool and too close to overlook: www.cheaperthandirt.com/POD300-44905-724.htmlThey call it the "monostaff" - it's a telescoping hiking staff that already looks like a forcepike!

I just made mine using a Golf Ball Retriever. It has the right taper to it, and the telescoping area has a very nice business end to it. There is a tutorial online that I roughly followed that worked rather well. Once I get some pictures taken, I will post them.

They have monostaffs at Wal-Mart. However you would need to remove it's handle.

I didn't know that - I've got a supercenter about 3 miles away. I might check that.
